It would prove to be a complete tour de force performance\, and one the venerable actor considered his greatest ever. With minimal stage decoration\, music by Les Baxter\, and an abundance of enthusiasm\, Price delivers blistering dramatized readings of The Tell-Tale Heart\, The Sphinx\, The Cask of Amontillado\, and The Pit and the Pendulum\, each in distinctly different character (and often two) and a full wardrobe provided by his wife and costume designer\, Mary.
