This event is a benefit for The Cat Shelter\, with 100% of ticket proceeds helping support homeless cats in St. Louis. $10\, $15\, and $20 tickets available — all proceeds go directly to The Cat Shelter. \n\n\n\nIf you’ve never seen HOUSE\, it’s one of the most wildly imaginative horror films ever made. Directed by Nobuhiko Obayashi\, the film follows a group of schoolgirls who visit a haunted house in the countryside\, where the supernatural chaos quickly escalates into one of the strangest\, most inventive horror experiences ever put on screen. Equal parts horror movie\, fever dream\, and pop-art experiment\, HOUSE has become a true cult classic. If you have seen it\, this is your chance to introduce it to your friends and support a great cause.  \n\n\n\nThe film also features one of horror cinema’s most iconic animals: Blanche\, the mysterious white cat whose glowing eyes seem to hold the key to everything happening inside the house. \n\n\n\nThis screening also serves as the kickoff to Hysteria Fest 2026’s focus on Japanese horror\, which will be a major theme of this year’s festival programming.
