Starring Stephen Dorff as lunatic director Sinclair Stevens and a never-better Melanie Griffith as movie goddess Honey Whitlock\, CECIL B. DEMENTED is a cult movie for cinephiles about a movie cult populated by cinephiles! Sinclair leads a devoted band of cinema terrorists who kidnap Honey and force her to star in their underground movie. The twist? She kinda likes it! Inspired by the real-life kidnapping of Patty Hearst (who has a cameo)\, CECIL is a hilarious attack on commercial cinema\, a film that brought Waters back to the underground after a string of more mainstream projects. With jabs at awards\, talking in the movies\, and endless sequelization\, CECIL B. DEMENTED is a kalashnikov aimed at the film business\, mowing down delusional executives and middlebrow respectability-mongers with gleeful malice. \n\n\n\nCome out early for a pre-show dedicated to the Pope of Trash\, starting at 6:30 pm. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArkadin does not generally provide advisories about subject matter or potentially triggering content in films\, as sensitivities vary from person to person. You must physically come to the lobby to get your name on the waitlist. Seats are released as they become available. All remaining seats are released at showtime.\n\n\n\nAll ages are welcome at Arkadin except for Drinkolas Cage events\, which are restricted to 21+. We follow the MPAA rating guidelines for all other films.\n\n\n\nTickets can be purchased using the BUY TICKETS link above. Upon ordering\, you will receive a confirmation email from Square. Tickets may also be purchased on the day of the show at the concession counter.\n\n\n\nIf you’ve purchased advance tickets\, when you arrive\, please give your name at the concession counter to check in. \n\n\n\nTickets are returnable by sending a request through the contact form located on our About Us page prior to showtime.\n\n\n\nWhen an event is sold out\, we reserve the right to release open seats to customers on the waitlist.
