When will this bloodshed stop? And when will the United States of America stop supporting it? Filmmaker Poh Si Teng offers a clear-eyed\, unrelenting look at the genocide in Gaza \n\n\n\n\n\nThe Film Stage \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Be7_u8jzHzU\n\n\n\n\nArkadin does not generally provide advisories about subject matter or potentially triggering content in films\, as sensitivities vary from person to person. SUMMARY:Queer road trip dramedy DREAMS IN NIGHTMARES (2026) w/ director Shatara Michelle Ford in person!
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“With their debut film Test Pattern\, Ford announced themselves as an essential new voice in Black cinema\, with a focus on the lives and struggles of Black women. Here\, Ford tackles similar themes with a wider scope that includes Black femmes\, queer love\, and non-monogamous relationship structures. An even mix of comedy and drama\, Dreams in Nightmares is a work that feels both casual and cathartic.” – Jordain Searles\, The Film Stage \n\n\n\nWith their second film\, St. Louis-raised filmmaker Shatara Michelle Ford (Test Pattern) puts their singular stamp on the American road movie. Dreams in Nightmares\, which stars Denée Benton (The Gilded Age) and Jasmin Savoy Brown (Yellowjackets\, Scream 7). follows a group of queer friends in their mid-30s navigating love\, identity\, and belonging across America. Anchored in themes of chosen family and self-discovery\, the film blends humor and emotional depth against the backdrop of a journey through the Midwest and beyond. Dreams in Nightmares is an expansive and tender ode to the chosen family and to the radical act of claiming space to dream—and to exist—in an increasingly fraught country. \n\n\n\nDirector Shatara Michelle Ford will join us in person for a Q&A following the film! \n\n\n\nDreams in Nightmares also plays Sept. 16 at 7 pm\, with cast member Joss Barton. SUMMARY:Sewer Urchin presents GLOBAL URINATION: THE VIDEO ALBUM (2026)
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“…a filthy\, spit-in-your-face assault on decency and order.” – Maximum Rocknroll (music album review) \n\n\n\nYour friendly local crossover-thrash band\, Sewer Urchin\, presents GLOBAL URINATION: THE VIDEO ALBUM\, a self-produced excursion into low budget filmmaking\, featuring NO CGI\, NO GREEN SCREEN and absolutely NO AI. This is trash cinema with a crossover thrash soundtrack. \n\n\n\nYou will see: Kaiju toys destroying lego buildings! Zombies! Kung fu! A man-sized fly! Puppets! Sasquatch! Blood! \n\n\n\nThis project was nearly 2 years in the making (more if you count writing/recording the music)\, with direction of all the videos being handled by guitarist\, Todd Parker. Todd learned the basics of filmmaking on a string of no-budget movies in the mid-2000s\, holding a little bit of every title\, from editor to make-up artist. These days he makes movies for fun\, on his own terms. \n\n\n\nLIMITED EDITION VHS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR THE FIRST TIME AT THIS SCREENING. ANY REMAINING STOCK WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE AFTERWARDS \n\n\n\nMORE PRAISE FOR GLOBAL URINATION (the music album): \n\n\n\n\n“Crunchy\, thrashy metal that carries the aroma of DRI\, SOD\, MOD…” – Punk Dumpster Zine\n\n\n\n“…the whole world’s going up in flames\, let’s get fucked up and listen to Sewer Urchin.” – Nuke the Whales Punk Zine
