Brush up on your pirate-speak and enjoy one of the most thrilling entertainments of the silent era as Arkadin presents this very special screening of THE BLACK PIRATE! Film in glorious two-strip Technicolor\, The Black Pirate employed Technicolor II\, an early two-color process that took two filmstrips\, this lavish production stars a never-better Douglas Fairbanks as a nobleman who seeks vengeance for his father’s death against a murderous band of buccaneers by posing as…The Black Pirate. Featuring swashbuckling duels\, daredevil stunts and nonstop high-seas hijinks\, THE BLACK PIRATE is the platonic ideal of the pirate adventure film. A massive critical and popular hit in its day\, the film remains a hugely rousing entertainment for both kids and adults nearly a century later. And our talk-like-a-pirate presentation provides the perfect opportunity to channel your inner Blackbeard. Avast! Wee little ones and olde folks alike welcome\, but no landlubbers allowed! \n\n\n\nCome early\, me hearties\, for a PIRATE METAL PRE-SHOW at 4:30 pm\, featuring the likes of Alestorm\, Rumahoy\, and Running Wild! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArkadin does not generally provide advisories about subject matter or potentially triggering content in films\, as sensitivities vary from person to person. You must physically come to the lobby to get your name on the waitlist. Seats are released as they become available. All remaining seats are released at showtime.\n\n\n\nAll ages are welcome at Arkadin except for Drinkolas Cage events\, which are restricted to 21+. We follow the MPAA rating guidelines for all other films.\n\n\n\nTickets can be purchased using the BUY TICKETS link above. Upon ordering\, you will receive a confirmation email from Square. Tickets may also be purchased on the day of the show at the concession counter.\n\n\n\nIf you’ve purchased advance tickets\, when you arrive\, please give your name at the concession counter to check in. \n\n\n\nTickets are returnable by sending a request through the contact form located on our About Us page prior to showtime.\n\n\n\nWhen an event is sold out\, we reserve the right to release open seats to customers on the waitlist. If you have a pre-purchased ticket and arrive late and there is no seat for you\, your ticket will be refunded.\n\n\n\nAll screenings are held in our indoor theater unless indicated otherwise in the event description above.\n\n\n\nPlease respect your fellow movie-goers by remaining quiet and refraining from using your cell phone throughout the screening.
