SUMMARY:GAMERA 2: ATTACK OF LEGION (1996)
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“The greatest kaiju movies ever made!” – Matt Draper \n\n\n\nAfter laying dormant for fifteen years\, Gamera was rebooted for the big screen in a smash hit trilogy masterminded by director Shusuke Kaneko\, writer Kazunori Ito (Ghost in the Shell) and SFX director Shinji Higuchi (who went on to co-direct Shin Godzilla). Trading the campy kid-friendly surrealism of the earlier films for a darker\, more realistic tone and jaw-dropping innovative special effects\, the “Heisei trilogy” are still regarded today as three of the best—if not the very best—kaiju films ever made. This unmissable trio plays on the last three Sundays in September at 3 pm. Each film in the trilogy builds on the previous one but also offers a perfectly satisfying standalone experience! \n\n\n\n\nSept. 13 @ 3 pm — Gamera: Guardian of the Universe (1995)“Modern monster classic” – Toho KingdomFollowing a long absence from the big screen\, Gamera made a triumphant return to form in time for his 30th anniversary\, with upgraded special effects and a more serious tone. Now a guardian deity\, Gamera tussles with a new incarnation of his old foe—the flying monster Gyaos — first in Fukuoka\, and then in a spectacular aerial battle over Tokyo.\n\n\n\nSept. 20 @ 3 pm — Gamera 2: Attack of Legion (1996)“The kind of sequel that all kaiju films should aspire to be” – Cinematical PenguinOne year after the events of the previous Gamera film\, Earth’s ecosystem is under attack by an insect lifeform from outer space bent on colonizing our world. As the city of Sendai is destroyed\, Gamera must protect the planet from the monster Legion and gets some help from Japan’s Self Defense Forces.\n\n\n\nSept. 27 @ 3 pm — Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris (1999)”The greatest giant monster film ever made” – A.D. VisionAs Gyaos monsters begin to attack Japan again\, a young girl — whose parents died during a previous monster conflict — discovers a new creature called Iris. After merging with the girl\, the trauma-powered Iris seeks revenge on Gamera\, who seems to be losing his patience with humankind.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTheater Policies\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll seats are first-come\, first-served.\n\n\n\nThe theater opens 30 minutes prior to showtime\, except for “Happy Hour” events and pre-shows when the theater opens at the listed start time.\n\n\n\nWhen a screening is sold out\, we open a waitlist 30 minutes before showtime. You must physically come to the lobby to get your name on the waitlist. Seats are released as they become available. All remaining seats are released at showtime.\n\n\n\nAll ages are welcome at Arkadin except for Drinkolas Cage events\, which are restricted to 21+. We follow the MPAA rating guidelines for all other films.\n\n\n\nTickets can be purchased using the BUY TICKETS link above. Upon ordering\, you will receive a confirmation email from Square. SUMMARY:"Timeless trans buddy comedy" BY HOOK OR BY CROOK (2001) presented by Metro Trans Umbrella Group -- FREE!
DESCRIPTION:“A timeless trans buddy comedy… By Hook or By Crook provides an important sense of queer history.” – Chicago Reader \n\n\n\nGroundbreaking when it was made and still fiercely innovative today\, BY HOOK OR BY CROOK is a trans and butch buddy film that chronicles three weeks in the life of Shy\, a handsome\, gender-bending\, small town dreamer with a nagging messiah complex. Emotionally defeated after the death of his father\, Shy heads to the big city to sink himself into a “life of crime.” He is quickly distracted by Valentine\, a deliriously expressive\, wise-acre adoptee on a misguided search for her birth mother. The two freaky grifters join forces and learn the true meaning of “poise under pressure” in this visually stunning and wonderfully acted\, anti-authoritarian tale of friendship\, trust and redemption. \n\n\n\nThis FREE screening is presented by Metro Trans Umbrella Group\, who will provide an introduction before the film. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArkadin does not generally provide advisories about subject matter or potentially triggering content in films\, as sensitivities vary from person to person. However\, we encourage researching titles to determine if a screening may contain content that could be upsetting to you. Please feel free to contact us for guidance on specific films. Information about content can also be found on Common Sense Media\, IMDB and DoesTheDogDie.com\, as well as through general internet searches. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTheater Policies\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll seats are first-come\, first-served.\n\n\n\nThe theater opens 30 minutes prior to showtime\, except for “Happy Hour” events and pre-shows when the theater opens at the listed start time.\n\n\n\nWhen a screening is sold out\, we open a waitlist 30 minutes before showtime. SUMMARY:Wild cult comedy classic EATING RAOUL (1982)
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“A delicious black comedy! Full of laugh-out-loud sick gags and charmingly acted by all.” – Empire \n\n\n\nA sleeper hit of the early 1980s\, Eating Raoul is a bawdy\, gleefully amoral tale of conspicuous consumption. Warhol superstar Mary Woronov and cult legend Paul Bartel (who also directed) portray a prudish married couple—appropriately named the Blands—who feel put upon by the swingers living in their apartment building. One night\, by accident\, they discover a way to simultaneously rid themselves of the “perverts” down the hall and realize their dream of opening a restaurant. A mix of hilarious\, anything-goes slapstick and biting satire of me-generation self-indulgence\, Eating Raoul marked the end of the sexual revolution with a thwack. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArkadin does not generally provide advisories about subject matter or potentially triggering content in films\, as sensitivities vary from person to person. SUMMARY:Black comedy horror cult classic MOTEL HELL (1980)
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“Chicken-fried Sweeney Todd snapping into a Slim Jim…a cult classic…if you want to get into 80s horror and have a lot of laughs along the way — it’s a sausage fest you won’t want to miss.” – Attack of the Drive-In \n\n\n\nIt takes all kinds of critters to make Farmer Vincent’s fritters! A creepy and black-comic hilarious horror yarn that “packs a punch that goes way beyond mere terror” (Boxoffice)\, Motel Hell is ’80s cult filmmaking at its finest. Rory Calhoun stars as the psychotic Vincent\, whose popular products contain a special ingredient that the psychotic farmer and his sister (Nancy Parsons) would literally kill to keep a secret! Can you guess what it is? (We bet you can.) Delightfully gruesome\, with an acid tongue firmly in its cheek\, this gleefully schlocky chiller co-stars Cheers and Pixar regular John Ratzenberger as a punk rock drummer and legendary DJ Wolfman Jack as a televangelist. The film also happens to be one of Arkadin co-owner Keith’s mom’s favorite films of all time! Come find out why and see if this cult classic just might be your cup of meat too. \n\n\n\nCome out early for a Cannibal Shorts pre-show starting at 6 pm\, featuring a smorgasbord of human meat. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArkadin does not generally provide advisories about subject matter or potentially triggering content in films\, as sensitivities vary from person to person. SUMMARY:"Genuinely revolting" DUMPLINGS (2004) -- Friday Night WTF! -- $5
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFriday Night WTF screenings are cheap\, weird\, and out of control! Cult trashterpieces\, so-bad-they’re-good crapfests\, movies that make you ask “What the hell am I watching?!” — we’ve got ’em all on Friday night. \n\n\n\n“Genuinely revolting! Mixes glossy arthouse visuals with satirically sickening Category III sleaze” – The Guardian \n\n\n\nIn this wild\, disturbing and darkly funny Hong Kong horror tale\, an ex-starlet (Miriam Yeung) who is now the trophy wife of a rich businessman is desperate to regain her fast-fading youth. When she learns of a mysterious chef whose dumplings are supposedly able to do just this\, she quickly tracks her down. But what exactly is the secret of the recipe? When you find out\, you may never wanted to have dim sum ever again. Expanded from a short segment in the compilation film Three… Extremes\, Dumplings is a biting satire of beauty care and aging that makes The Substance look like Candy Land. SUMMARY:CANIBA (2017) presented by Lost in the Arthouse
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLOST IN THE ARTHOUSE is a monthly series hosted by Arkadin co-owner Keith Watson that takes you to hidden corners of filmdom far from Hollywood. From must-see classics to obscurities waiting to be discovered\, these films stand at cinema’s bleeding edge. \n\n\n\n“I had\, so to speak\, seen it all. And then I saw Caniba.” – John Semley\, The Globe & Mail \n\n\n\nA hugely controversial documentary from the pioneering filmmakers behind the also-incredible Leviathan\, Caniba just might be the scariest movie ever made. It’s certainly one of the most intimate and unrelenting explorations of human depravity ever captured onscreen. Filmed primarily in intense close-ups that practically burrow into its subject’s flesh\, Caniba is a portrait of the notorious criminal Issei Sagawa\, who\, as a 32-year-old student at the Sorbonne in Paris\, murdered his Dutch classmate\, Renée Hartevelt\, and began eating her body. Sagawa was convicted of his crimes in France\, but through some legal loopholes\, he soon was allowed to return back to his home country of Japan where he lived for decades as a free man\, making his living by writing novels\, drawing manga\, and appearing in innumerable documentaries and sexploitation films in which he reenacted his crime. \n\n\n\nDirectors Véréna Paravel and Lucien Castaing-Taylor explore the outer limits of human behavior through Sagawa’s mysterious relationship with his brother. In a twist reminiscent of Terry Zwigoff’s Crumb\, it turns out Sagawa may not be the most disturbed person in his own family. Disturbing\, darkly funny\, and completely unforgettable\, Caniba provides an uncomfortable intimacy with a man most would regard as a monster\, one who has transgressed the fundamental taboo. The film refuses to provide easy judgments or simple resolutions\, allowing us—or perhaps forcing us—to marinate in our own shared humanity. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArkadin does not generally provide advisories about subject matter or potentially triggering content in films\, as sensitivities vary from person to person. Tickets may also be purchased on the day of the show at the concession counter.\n\n\n\nIf you’ve purchased advance tickets\, when you arrive\, please give your name at the concession counter to check in. \n\n\n\nTickets are returnable by sending a request through the contact form located on our About Us page prior to showtime.\n\n\n\nWhen an event is sold out\, we reserve the right to release open seats to customers on the waitlist. If you have a pre-purchased ticket and arrive late and there is no seat for you\, your ticket will be refunded.\n\n\n\nAll screenings are held in our indoor theater unless indicated otherwise in the event description above.\n\n\n\nPlease respect your fellow movie-goers by remaining quiet and refraining from using your cell phone throughout the screening.

SUMMARY:GAMERA 3: REVENGE OF IRIS (1999)
SUMMARY:Mystery/sci-fi mind bender DEAD MOUNTAINEER'S HOTEL (1979)
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“A surreal genre mash-up that opens like an Agatha Christie-style locked-room mystery before shifting gears during its last act to an otherworldly bit of sci-fi strangeness.“ – Slant Magazine \n\n\n\nA dazzling\, paranoid mixture of locked-room mystery\, 1970s Euro giallo\, classic noir whodunit\, and (unbelievably) alien sci-fi\, Dead Mountaineer’s Hotel is a mountainside mind bender with immaculate late-night Eastern Bloc vibes. Based on a novel by famed Soviet authors Arkady and Boris Strugatsky (whose novel Roadside Picnic provided the basis for Andrei Tarkovsky’s Stalker)\, the hall-of-mirrors plot follows police inspector Glebsky as he’s trapped by avalanche in the eponymous ski lodge with a rogues’ gallery of weird suspects:  tubercular gangster Hinckus\, creepy hotel owner Snewahr\, a wall-climbing physicist\, a louche beauty out of a Bryan Ferry song – oh – and the Dead Mountaineer’s faithful St. Bernard.  The interior of the hotel is straight out of a Dario Argento thriller: all chrome-and-marble with Space Age modern designs\, drenched in champagne and feather boas.  Featuring a stellar electronica / prog score by composer Sven Grünberg\, the film combines an eerie The Shining-like mountain locale with speculative sci-fi straight out of Chariots of the Gods.    \n\n\n\nNewly restored in 4K by Deaf Crocodile in collaboration with the Estonian Film Institute and Film Archive.  In Estonian with English subtitles. \n\n\n\nOTHER WORLDS brings you to strange new realms through science fiction and fantasy. Featuring classics\, hidden gems\, and cult favorites\, this series offers a mind-bending retreat from our mundane reality. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArkadin does not generally provide advisories about subject matter or potentially triggering content in films\, as sensitivities vary from person to person. SUMMARY:LADY IN WHITE (1988) presented by Dark Dream Cinema
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDark Dream Cinema is a monthly film series devoted to the creeping undercurrents of the arthouse scene\, hosted by Michael Morlaine. \n\n\n\n“A beautifully tender and haunting ghost story.” – Moria Reviews \n\n\n\nWillowpoint Falls is a quiet hamlet in upstate New York\, an idyllic landscape of Norman Rockwell homesteads and stunning scenic beauty. It’s also a small town with a secret: For ten years\, a killer has preyed upon its children\, casting darkness upon the sunlit haze of its rolling hills. And when Frankie Scarlatti gets locked in the cloakroom one Halloween night\, he finds himself mired in a mystery: the tragic tale of a murdered schoolgirl and the legendary Lady in White. \n\n\n\nA heartfelt passion project from writer\, director\, producer\, and composer Frank LaLoggia\, Lady in White transforms LaLoggia’s own childhood memories into a swooning epic of family\, friendship\, love\, and loss. Based on the legend of the titular lady—a spectral figure claimed to haunt LaLoggia’s hometown of Rochester\, NY—the film blends tragedy and horror with the folksy humor of vintage Americana. Featuring gorgeous visuals\, a rapturous score\, and a standout performance by a young Lukas Haas\, Lady in White is a singular entry in the horror canon\, and a one-of-a-kind Halloween classic. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArkadin does not generally provide advisories about subject matter or potentially triggering content in films\, as sensitivities vary from person to person. SUMMARY:CHRONOVISOR (2026) -- "Spine-tingling and uncanny"
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“Getting caught up in the film’s mounting obsession feels like falling headfirst into a Wikipedia rabbit hole\, tumbling into darkness and data until dawn breaks over your bloodshot eyes. It’s a rush and an addiction… Boldly inviting its audience to weave between the lanes of lucidity and enthrallment\, this film might entice some obsessives of its own.” – The AV Club \n\n\n\nAn entrancing conspiranoid thriller told in a literate\, arthouse style\, Chronovisor is one of the most unique films of 2026. While writing a monograph on historical theories of memory\, Respected academic Béatrice (played by real-life professor Anne Laure Sellier) becomes beguiled by the allegedly true story of the Chronovisor\, an occult device said to reproduce visuals from any point in history on a TV screen. Her obsession with the mysterious machine drags her from her Upper East Side apartment through the depths of New York City’s hidden libraries\, to the edge of a breakthrough. Filmed on luminous 16mm film\, Chronovisor captures better than perhaps any film ever made the pure compulsive enthrallment of falling down the rabbit hole of “the wildest conspiracy theory you’ve never heard” (The Film Stage). \n\n\n\nWHAT THE CRITICS ARE SAYING…\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“Wildly compelling” \n\n\n\n\nAn occult thriller turns academic obsession Into something beguiling and wildly compelling… an addicting\, compulsively watchable rabbit hole. \n\n\n\n\n\nIndieWire \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“Strikingly original” \n\n\n\n\nAuen and Walker employ a strikingly original array of aesthetic strategies… a mystery that becomes only more absorbing and thought-provoking the deeper the film goes down the archival rabbit hole. \n\n\n\n\n\nSlant Magazine \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“Spine-tingling and uncanny” \n\n\n\n\nA spine-tingling and uncanny film that resonates with the vastly expanding powers of networked space and artificial intelligence today\, and fears of the erosion of privacy and human autonomy… deceptive and intoxicating. \n\n\n\n\n\nThe Film Verdict \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTheater Policies\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll seats are first-come\, first-served.\n\n\n\nThe theater opens 30 minutes prior to showtime\, except for “Happy Hour” events and pre-shows when the theater opens at the listed start time.\n\n\n\nWhen a screening is sold out\, we open a waitlist 30 minutes before showtime. SUMMARY:THIS IS BUZZ (2026) -- w/ director Mark Pellington in person + Pellington-directed music videos pre-show @ 3:30 pm
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“One of the best documentaries of 2025\, a movie about the late 1980s and early 1990s that’s also — without forcing the parallels — very much a movie about today.” – IndieWire \n\n\n\nHelmed by Mark Pellington (whose credits include the legendary music video for Pearl Jam’s “Jeremy” and criminally underrated early-aughts chiller The Mothman Prophecies)\, This Is Buzz is a bold\, music-driven documentary that tells (and\, just as importantly\, illustrates) the tale of the seismically influential—yet somehow forgotten—MTV slice-of-life docuseries BUZZ\, which ran for just 13 episodes in 1990. The show took an experimental approach to uncovering often undiscussed corners of global life. With fast-paced edits giving the show an avant-garde feel\, the series would tackle specific subjects with each entry. This dream-like\, almost subliminal\, feel pre-dated the media oversaturation we feel today as we are drawn to a constant conveyor belt of content on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. And on top of it all\, RuPaul was the show’s host! \n\n\n\nCome out early for a pre-show of music videos directed by Mark Pellington beginning at 3:30 pm. An in-person Q&A with director Mark Pellington will follow the film! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTheater Policies\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll seats are first-come\, first-served.\n\n\n\nThe theater opens 30 minutes prior to showtime\, except for “Happy Hour” events and pre-shows when the theater opens at the listed start time.\n\n\n\nWhen a screening is sold out\, we open a waitlist 30 minutes before showtime. SUMMARY:THE MOTHMAN PROPHECIES (2002) w/ director Mark Pellington in person!
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“Chills me to my bones… One of the creepiest movies ever made” – Chris Stuckmann \n\n\n\nMark Pellington’s The Mothman Prophecies bravely bucked the trend of early-aughts horror. A thoughtful\, slow-burn chiller released amidst a stream of brash\, garish post-Scream silliness\, Pellington’s film evokes the eerie\, less-is-more approach of Val Lewton. Based on the allegedly classic non-fiction book by parapsychologist John A. Keel\, who investigated sightings of the eponymous creature in and around Point Pleasant\, West Virginia\, The Mothman Prophecies stars Richard Gere as a grief‑stricken reporter who chases a trail of impossible sightings of a winged figure that induces hideous nightmares and fevered visions in those it visits. Pulsing with dread\, this bold\, beautiful\, supremely creepy gem remains one of the most underappreciated horror films of its era. \n\n\n\nAn in-person Q&A with Mark Pellington follows the film! SUMMARY:Legendary "metaphysical splatter film" BEGOTTEN (1990) -- new 4K restoration w/ industrial music videos pre-show @ 6:30 pm
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“The experimental ‘metaphysical splatter film’ you absolutely have to see.” – Collider \n\n\n\nA hypnotic Rorschach test that scars the psyche as much as the eye\, E. Elias Merhige’s directorial debut—memorably described as a “metaphysical splatter film” by critic J. Hoberman—stripped a century’s worth of filmmaking technique back to its primordial form. Here we have a genuine nightmare captured on degraded celluloid\, in which disfigured creatures flail in agony amid a barren landscape. Setting a forbidding new standard in avant-garde\, Begotten drew a line in the sand that has yet to be crossed. Be forwarned: This film is disturbing in a way few films can match. Picture Eraserhead on a Skinamarink budget\, as fed through a broken photocopier and burned to a crisp. Then take that\, drag it through the mud\, bury it in sand\, and screen it at night on the side of a barn while fluorsecents flicker overhead. Preferably during a cult initation. It’s the soul-searing experience you never knew you needed. (Michael Morlaine) \n\n\n\nThe film will be preceded by a pre-show of industrial music videos\, including a few directed by BEGOTTEN helmer E. Elias Merhige! \n\n\n\n\nBegotten has no characters in the ordinary sense. Its final credits name three principal figures: \n\n\n\nGod Killing Himself.Mother Earth.Son of Earth — Flesh on Bone \n\n\n\nThe entire film is what those names do to each other and to the earth. \n\n\n\nGod Killing Himself tears open his body and dies. Mother Earth rises from what remains and takes his seed into herself. She gives birth to Son of Earth — Flesh on Bone. He is cast into a barren world\, seized by the Nomads\, tortured\, killed\, and briefly returned to life by his mother. The Nomads destroy her too. The Robed Figures gather what remains of mother and son\, grind their bodies down\, and return them to the soil. The ground flowers. \n\n\n\nBegotten was shot in black and white on 16mm reversal film\, then rephotographed frame by frame through neutral-density filters. The process took four years and roughly ten hours of work for every finished minute. The image was worked by hand through repeated exposure and filtration until the grain itself began to move like an atmospheric condition\, thickening the dark and tearing open the light. \n\n\n\nWhen the film first began circulating\, no one agreed on where it belonged. Drama.Horror. Foreign. In one San Francisco video store\, briefly\, pornography. Susan Sontag encountered the film through the festival circuit\, became one of its earliest and most important advocates\, and began showing it to people in her living room. \n\n\n\nFor more than thirty-five years\, Begotten circulated in versions that carried its force but not its complete photographic body. Now\, for the first time\, the sketch has become the painting. Nothing has been cleaned up or modernized. The image has simply arrived at the form it was always meant to possess: blacks with weight\, whites with force\, and grain breathing as atmosphere. \n\n\n\nNobody has settled on what to call Begotten since it first appeared. \n\n\n\nThat was never the problem. \n\n\n\nIt is the reason to see it now. \n\n\n\n-E. SUMMARY:THE CRIMSON GHOST a.k.a. CYCLOTRODE 'X' (1966) w/ Misfits music videos pre-show presented by Strange Brew
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis film is presented by St. Louis’s long-running cult film series Strange Brew — winner of the 2025 A-List Award for Best Movie Night in St. Louis. Strange Brew programmer Jon Scorfina will provide an introduction. \n\n\n\nThe Crimson Ghost is a twelve-chapter film serial from 1946 produced by Republic Pictures. It follows a criminologist named Duncan Richards (Charles Quigley) as he tries to thwart the dastardly plans of a hooded villain wearing a skull mask known as The Crimson Ghost. The eponymous villain is trying to steal the Cyclotrode X\, a device that can disable all electronics\, which the miscreant hopes to obtain to wreak havoc throughout the world. Cyclotrode ‘X’ is a re-edit of the twelve chapters shortened and combined into a 100-minute television film released in 1966.  \n\n\n\nThe Crimson Ghost aka Cyclotrode ‘X’ is a campy blast\, featuring countless double crosses\, sucker punches\, mind control collars and multiple people jumping from exploding vehicles\, all in an effort to foil the cloaked evildoer from obtaining the atomic device. The film is best remembered now as the inspiration behind the mascot image for horror punk band The Misfits\, with the skull visage seen on dozens of Misfits’ albums\, singles and t-shirts\, cementing the villain’s place as a pop-culture icon. A Misfits Music Video Preshow will start at 6:30 pm. SUMMARY:67 BOMBS TO ENID (2026) + in-person Q&A with co-director Kevin Ford
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“Deeply moving…a benchmark for documentaries focusing on the people impacted by injustice and celebrating their heritage” – Dan Ingram\, News9 \n\n\n\nBetween 1946 and 1958\, the United States of America conducted 67 known nuclear weapons tests in the Marshall Islands\, on Bikini and Enewetak Atolls. Decades later\, thousands of Marshallese survivors and their descendants now live in the United States and one such community has settled on the plains of Enid\, Oklahoma. 67 BOMBS TO ENID is an intimate\, character-driven documentary that weaves first-hand accounts of the detonations with the testimony of the generation born after — tracing displacement\, generational trauma\, and a community’s insistence on joy and cultural pride in the unlikeliest of American towns. It speaks to the need for durable solutions to the harms caused by the nuclear legacy\, as well as the Marshallese peoples continued pursuit of nuclear justice. Executive Produced by Errol Morris. \n\n\n\nCo-director Kevin Ford will join us after the film for an in-person Q&A! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArkadin does not generally provide advisories about subject matter or potentially triggering content in films\, as sensitivities vary from person to person.
