HEAD CLEANER THEATRE is a brand new, VHS-focused mixtape series curated and edited by Mark Willey taking you to the outer limits and lower depths of video “entertainment.” HEAD CLEANER THEATRE is sure to gooify your gray matter with a host of analog afflictions sliced and diced up by your host, culling from the storied tape collections and skewed sensibilities of co-conspirators Wade’s Movie Bag and St. Louis Video Society.

You can expect a feature-length mix of vintage VHS trailers, TV, music videos, commercials, cartoons, direct-to-video trash, misguided children’s entertainment, action schlock, sci-fi hooey, cringey instructional tapes, conspiracy theory bunkum, lost and found media, “reimagined” scenes of cinema, computer dreams, digital nightmares, and more! In the future, you can expect mixes to coalesce around a theme, but as an opening salvo, this introductory mixtape will be freeform!
