Little known and barely seen, this obscure little gem features a shockingly high-profile voice cast — none of whom surely understood what exactly they were getting into. Sometimes cheesy, other times mind-bendingly psychedelic, this tripped-out dreamscape features some genuinely fascinating ideas and mind-blowing images alongside plenty of corny cliches and goofball moments. But there’s an endearing sincerity and genuine inventiveness that makes this film a true must-see for lovers of cinema’s stranger side.
