314 DAY FOR WEIRDOS: new STL-made horror film ANXIETY w/ filmmaker Q&A — $4

March 14 : 9:00 pm 11:00 pm

“A raw and unsettling phantasmagorical vision. A deeply impactful film.” – Severed Cinema

This 314 Day, Arkadin celebrates our fair St. Louis by presenting a night of entertainment made by and for the real heroes who make this town go ’round…the weirdos!

A recovering alcoholic’s journey lurches into a nightmare tailspin during a global crisis. Sober for only a few months, her sanity erodes as the demon in her brain drags her deeper and deeper into a vortex of madness. Directed by legendary underground horror filmmaker Eric Stanze (Ice from the Sun, The Scare Game, Scrapbook). Starring Jackie Kelly (Tennessee Gothic) in a searing lead performance.

Eric Stanze will provide an introduction to the film and hold a Q&A afterwards.

“One hell of a ride. I highly recommend this one.” – Horror Society
“Offbeat and original. Jackie Kelly is excellent.” – Film Threat
“Plunges into a nightmare… Isolating in place is a prime scenario for psychological horror… and here it gets tackled with a vengeance. Jackie Kelly goes to some painful emotional places on the way to an ending that diverges significantly from where these kinds of stories usually go.” – Mondo Digital
“Frighteningly relatable. Excellent cinematography. A truly impressive lead performance from (Jackie) Kelly.” – Rock! Shock! Pop!
“Captures the essence of the fever dream perfectly with a mix of jarring visual symbolism and real, raw human angst that escalates with every passing scene.” – Get On My Damn Level
