“An ingenious stab at satirical horror” – Bloody Disgusting

A hedonistic spring break weekend turns into something much more sinister in the slasher party-comedy APRIL FOOL’S DAY. Nine college students vacation on the secluded island estate of their well-to-do classmate, Muffy St. John, a goof-off with a penchant for practical jokes. Muffy has booby trapped the estate with harmless gags like whoopee cushions and breakaway chair legs to annoy her friends. The pranks soon turn deadly when the group discovers they are trapped on the island with a mysterious killer who aims to accomplish the ultimate April Fool’s Day joke.

The 40th anniversary screening will be preceded by a Cheap Trick music video pre show starting at 6:30 pm.
