BLOOD RITUAL (1989) presented by Saint Louis Video Society

October 13 : 7:00 pm 9:00 pm

Free

SAINT LOUIS VIDEO SOCIETY digs deep in its extensive archives to present the weirdest, wildest, most incredible VHS obscurities. Always free, always presented by Video Society archivist James Milam!

This October, Saint Louis Video Society presents a Hong Kong, CATEGORY-III rarity just in time for Halloween! BLOOD RITUAL (1989) is a whacked-out smorgasbord of black magic sleaze, kung fu detectives, poo-poo-potty humor, and EVEN(!) romantic comedy. It stars the late, great Norman Tsui, as an ex-con turned PI, dragged into a violent string of occult murders. The action is brisk, the goons are gross, and the tone of the film shifts every 15 minutes! That’s a lot to take in, and it’s all coming to Arkadin for one night only on Monday, October 14th. This movie has never been released on DVD or Blu-ray, so check out this ONLY ON VHS screening straight from the VIDEO SOCIETY archive!

Come out early for a Halloween Video mixtape starting at 6:30 pm sharp!

Arkadin does not generally provide advisories about subject matter or potentially triggering content in films, as sensitivities vary from person to person.
