SAINT LOUIS VIDEO SOCIETY digs deep in its extensive archives to present the weirdest, wildest, most incredible VHS obscurities. Always free, always presented by Video Society archivist James Milam!

This December, STLVS PRESENTS a one-of-a-kind jungle adventure, only released on VHS! Globetrotting hero, Galyon, is hired by a wealthy industrialist to rescue his daughter and her husband from deadly commandos in the Argentinean jungle…all while avoiding carefully filmed wildlife go absolutely batshit on camera…. GALYON (1979) is the brainchild of Ivan Tors, who created TV shows like Flipper and Gentle Ben, and Stan Brock, middled-aged conservationist and karate master. The beautiful big box VHS conceals a marvel of economical travelogue filmmaking and kung fu hijinks…the perfect light, brainless film for the holiday season! Don’t miss it, or Galyon will find you!
