When deadly assassin Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) is given a lethal dose of poison that will kill him in one hour, he must keep his adrenaline pumping long enough to find an antidote or his killer, not necessarily in that order. It’s essentially Speed on…well, speed. A scrappy 15-million-dollar underdog that became a surprise hit, Crank put co-directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor on the map thanks to the zippy, over-the-top style they bring to every single frame of the film.
