Hysteria Fest is back for its fourth year, binging you the best in contemporary horror, as always, plus a special repertory spotlight on Canadian Horror.

Thursday, July 10th

5pm: OPENING ACTS AND FINAL GASPS – shorts block  – Free
Description: Opening Acts & Final Gasps plunges into the eerie and unexplainable—where the supernatural bleeds into madness and the final breath may not be the end. These twisted tales deliver creeping dread, otherworldly forces, and descent-into-darkness horrors that blur the line between reality and nightmare.

Friday, July 11th

7pm: Dooba Dooba – Feature – $9
Description: Amna expected a relaxed night of babysitting but when she arrives, she learns that her ward is not only a sheltered sixteen-year-old girl who goes by Moony, but that she is being watched at all times by in-home security cameras. It quickly becomes apparent that Moony is unaccustomed to socializing and that she has a grave misunderstanding of the term friendship.

Description: A lonely gravedigger who stinks of corpses finally meets her dream man, but their whirlwind affair is cut short when he tragically drowns at sea. 12pm: The Blood in the Bevo Local Shorts Block – $5
Description: This block shines a spotlight on the twisted talent brewing right here in St. Louis. From local legends to rising voices, these homegrown nightmares tap into the unique style, grit, and imagination of our city’s horror scene—proving the Midwest can get just as dark and demented as anywhere else.

1pm: Girls Just Wanna Have Kill – Feature – $5
Description: A time traveler and pop culture “splatter heroine” investigate the murders of a coach and two female runners, which occurred thirty years ago. Mondo bizarro time travel splatter.

2pm: The Hedonist – Feature – $9
Description: A young man moves in with his parents and hires an escort to take care of him after a nervous breakdown.

4pm: The Shadows and the Screams Shorts Block – $9
Description: This block explores the shadowy corners of human nature—stories of cruelty, despair, and the violence we inflict on each other and ourselves. But even in the darkest depths, a flicker of wit or levity or absurdity sometimes breaks through, reminding us that horror doesn’t always have to flinch… even when it hurts to look.
