LIFERS: A LOCAL H MOVIE (2025) w/ Live In-Person Q&A with Scott Lucas of Local H presented by Strange Brew — SOLD OUT!

March 5 : 7:00 pm 9:00 pm

This film is presented by St. Louis’s long-running cult film series Strange Brew and will feature a pre-film intro by Strange Brew programmer Jon Scorfina.

Lifers: A Local H Movie is a hybrid concert film that not only documents the performance but also the communal excitement and experience of a group of fans going to a live rock concert. Starring Chicago (by way of Zion), Illinois’ cult rock dynamic duo Local H, and opening act Radkey, performing a sold-out concert at Chicago’s premiere alternative rock club the Metro, Lifers is shot in real time and follows the experience of multiple concert goers as their lives converge at the show. The blistering live performance by Local H is juxtaposed with the amusing adventures of the attendees at the show and ultimately crafts a borderline psychedelic cinematic rock n’ roll experience. Written, directed and edited by the band’s singer/guitarist Scott Lucas, Lifers is a cross between Led Zeppelin’s The Song Remains the Same and Richard Linklater’s Slacker, or as Lucas has described it, “the Goodbye, Dragon Inn of concert films.”

Don’t miss the St. Louis premiere of Lifers: A Local H Movie presented by Strange Brew at Arkadin with an introduction and post-film Q&A with Local H frontman & Lifers Director Scott Lucas on Wednesday, March 5 at 7 pm.

A Local H music video pre-show will start at 6:30 pm.
