TERRORVISION (1986) — ultra-’80s monster-movie mayhem

October 25 : 5:00 pm 7:00 pm

“Zany, hilarious, and bizarre…best described as The Thing if it were directed by John Waters” – Certified Forgotten

Boasting one of the goopiest and goofiest monsters of the ’80s, TERRORVISION is a wild throwback to the Golden Age of monster movies in the 1950s, updated for the MTV Generation. A satirical horror-comedy about a satellite dish that unleashes a bizarre blobular monster who feasts on humans, this Full Moon Feature has a reputation as a so-bad-it’s-good cult oddity, but what if it’s actually just genuinely really good? A wildly entertaining, 80-minute brain-melter full of silly gags, campy performances by legends like Gerrit Graham and Mary Woronov, and some absolutely eye-popping practical effects. By the end of the film, you’ll truly fall in love with the garbage pile ogre known as Hungry Beast.
