THE THIRD MAN (1949) — Arkadin’s Third Man-iversary Party w/ Orson Impression Contest & FREE POPCORN!

March 1 : 3:00 pm 5:00 pm

Help us celebrate our third anniversary with a special screening of THE THIRD MAN, one of the greatest films ever to star our cinema’s hero and namesake, the inimitable Orson Welles! We’ll have a pre-show featuring delectable Orson clips plus an Orson impression contest with prizes! And to celebrate the great man’s voluminous appetites, each audience member gets a FREE POPCORN!

Pulp novelist Holly Martins travels to Austria, only to find himself investigating the mysterious death of an old friend—black-market opportunist Harry Lime, played by Orson Welles in one of his most celebrated performances, a masterclass in wry, sardonic wit. Thus begins this legendary tale of love, deception, and murder, featuring iconic set pieces filmed against the shadowy backdrop of postwar Vienna. Thanks to brilliant performances by Joseph Cotten, Alida Valli, and Orson Welles; Anton Karas’s evocative zither score; Graham Greene’s razor-sharp dialogue; and Robert Krasker’s dramatic use of light and shadow, THE THIRD MAN, directed by Carol Reed with reported assistance from Welles, remains one of cinema’s most enduring treasures.

Please note there are two showtimes: 3 pm and 5:30 pm. Please choose your preferred showtime at checkout.

The film is preceded by an Orson Welles pre-show, starting 30 minutes before showtime.
