Victoria and her pup Allie invite you to Arkadin for a final screening to celebrate her father’s 113th birthday. Vincent loved animals and over his lifetime had quite the menagerie of pets, so she thought it ever-so-appropriate to include dogs in his birthday festivities. She’ll be introducing THEATRE OF BLOOD, which will screen in Arkadin Cinema’s outdoor theatre. Before the film Victoria will talk about her father and all of his pets. Pets are welcome, but must be leashed at all times. Vincent Price costumes are encouraged (humans and canine alike). Victoria is bringing along special prizes (posters, movie memorabilia and more!) to award best pet costumes in three categories:
- Theatre of Blood/Shakespeare-themed
- Most Colorful Homemade Costume (in honor of Victoria’s mother, Broadway and Hollywood costume designer Mary Grant)
- Vincent Price
Victoria has also cooked up a special treat for dessert for us all to sing “happy birthday” around in her father’s memory.
In the event of rain, the film will be moved indoors and sadly pooches will not be allowed. Bring photos of your pet in costume to participate in the awards contest!
