Creep down Gravois from Das Bevo (the windmill) to the Arkadin Backlot in our first-annual BEVO ZOMBIE WALK!

First, we’ll dress up like a zombie, grab a few drinks at Das Bevo. Then together we’ll stalk down Gravois to the Arkadin for a zombie movie and dance party! This event features a pre-film intro by Jon Scorfina of Strange Brew and post-film DJ set by Tilda Sweatin! (NOTE: Zombie Walk was originally set to start from Tim’s Chrome Bar. The starting location was changed to Das Bevo due to space limitations.)

Anyone dressed as a zombie who participates in the Zombie Walk gets into the film for FREE!

Flesh-eating zombies, exploding heads, UFOs, transgendered love, and rock & roll are all on display in this uber-“B”-flick starring Japanese punk band Guitar Wolf. Helmed by noted video director Takeuchi Tetsuro — known as “MTV Man” in Japan — the film duly opens during a Guitar Wolf concert with leather-clad rocker Ace (Endo Masashi) watching agog in the audience. During a bloody confrontation between Guitar Wolf and his sleazy, hot pants-wearing manager the Captain (Makoto Inamiya), Ace tries to defend his idols, only to get socked in the mouth for his effort. Guitar Wolf makes Ace his blood brother, gives him a whistle to sound during times of trouble, then races off to their next gig. Following Guitar Wolf on his motorcycle, Ace happens upon a comely waif named Tabio (Shitichai Kwancharu) during a gas station robbery. Soon, the threat of a knife-welding lunatic seems paltry compared to the sudden appearance of a legion of zombies hungry for living flesh. In the heat of a pitched battle between the young couple and the horde of the undead, true love blooms. Then, when things start getting really weird, Guitar Wolf comes to the rescue with guns and guitars a-blazin’. (AllMovie)

There is no physical pass. Passholders will check in at the box office on the night of the film.

In case of inclement weather, this screening will be moved to our indoor theater.

Limited seating is available outside and is first come, first served. It is strongly recommended that you Bring Your Own Chair.

The theater opens one hour prior to showtime.
